GéNIA’s next performance is announced for the 31st of July in Nice, Cote d’Azur!

GéNIA is back on the stage – this time it will be in Nice, at the Galerie Depardieu.

The concert on the 31st of July will see GéNIA’s work arranged for a more-than-unique collaboration with the wonderful multi-instrumentalist Jo Kaïat.

Jo will bring the lively sound of his harmonica to GéNIA’s compositions. Also, they will perform Jo’s compositions, especially rearranged for this collaboration.

The concert will strike everyone’s expectations about classical music concerts with the involvement of percussions, Kora and harmonica.

What are you waiting for? Ask your friend to join you for a weekend in Nice and grab your tickets for this inevitable collaboration!

For 20 years, the Galerie Depardieu has chosen to show eclectic artists whose work involves different material, painting, sculpture, photography, video and installations.

In order to promote an access to contemporary art, the gallery constantly organises cultural interpretations of art – dedicated to all types of public.

Artists meeting, conferences, musical manifestations, performances are organised to urge

the public concern about contemporary art confronting society and cultural issues.

GéNIA would like to invite not only her French fans to join her and Jo Kaïat for this special evening, but everyone interested in contemporary interpretations of classical music and, especially, music lovers of all ages.

All the details will be released here soon.

Holistic Day for Pianists with Melanie Spanswick and GéNIA on 16 July 2017 in London

Date: Sunday 16th July 2017 10am-5pm

Venue: Schott Music, 48 Great Marlborough Street, London, W1F 7BB

GéNIA and Melanie met in 2012, and immediately recognised their shared beliefs; helping piano students to realise their true potential by offering holistic technical and musical guidance, and thereby encouraging a different approach to piano playing. Subsequent workshops and projects have followed, and they now seek to present a complete holistic piano day which will explore several important elements; incorporating the physical flexibility and relaxation techniques employed in Piano-Yoga® with the mental mindfulness required in memorisation and sight-reading.

For further details and to book your place please visit Piano-Yoga® website. We look forward to seeing you at our event!
