'Love is in the Air'

Just two weeks before Valentine’s Day, the award-winning concert pianist & composer GéNIA would like to settle her audience into a romantic mood, creating anticipation for that special day.
GéNIA’s piano music can be heard on such popular TV series as ‘Killing Eve’, ‘Cold Feet’, ‘Close to Me’, ‘Sticks and Stones’, to name just a few. GéNIA’s music can also be experienced at Caffe Nero, as GéNIA is their classical artist.
With all the music dedicated to love, interspersed with GéNIA’s own compositions, the audience will be able to experience some Argentian passion from GéNIA’s cover versions of compositions by Astor Piazzolla, and also get a touch of that special French culture through ‘Voyage français’ (GéNIA’s latest album), as well as hearing cover versions of various popular songs by Adele and Coldplay, to name just a few.
With a few surprises lined up, the evening promises to bring a sensual touch, and put you in romantic mood.

A Music Journey Through Jazz, Classical Crossover, Neoclassical, and Modern Minimalism

Experience an evening of musical brilliance with GéNIA.
The first part of the evening is dedicated to exploring the ‘Etude’ genre with a contemporary twist. GéNIA, a renowned Ukrainian-born concert pianist and composer, will present Tango Etudes by the prolific Argentinian composer Astor Piazzolla, followed by Techno Etudes from the acclaimed Japanese composer Karen Tanaka. This segment will culminate in the premiere of GéNIA’s own Barre Etudes.
Her approach transforms the classical Etude, originally devised for enhancing technique and dexterity, by infusing it with a modern jazzy twist, giving it a fresh and lively 21st-century feel.

GÉNIA'S SHOW AT THE CROUCH END FESTIVAL
GéNIA gave a solo piano show combined together with the light show on a steps of a beautiful church in Crouch End. She also presented and performed with the Ukrainian singer Eugenia who was singing GéNIA's song 'I've never loved'. Both artists received standing ovations from the audience.

Fundraising Concert in support of GéNIA's 'Support Kharkiv!' Campaign. The event rasied a total of £2,226.40 for the campaign with CD sales totalling £108.06.
