GéNIA - Jean

The slightly murky feeling of ‘Jean’, a peaceful piano composition, is a fond memory of the French child, the son of GéNIA’s friends, who had a very playful, slightly delicate and creative nature; he played the piano, built sand-castles, read books and even cooked, but his big sad eyes always had that intense and inquisitive look.
 
 
This composition is the second piece in the series ‘Voyages Français’, and is dedicated to that special friendship. The EP ‘Voyages Français’ was inspired by GéNIA‘s frequent journeys to her beloved France. France was the country where GéNIA first started to compose, influenced by the nature, art, local food and, of course, wonderful people who she met on her journeys. ‘Voyages Français’ EP is dedicated to 5 different experiences, memories of which remained with the composer through out her life.
 
This piece will suit intermediate to advanced player. It is a perfect companion for the musical evening.
