A Heartfelt Update from 'Support Kharkiv Foundation' - Thank You for Bringing Smiles to Our Children

Dear All,

I would like to thank all those of you who supported my campaign for helping Kharkiv children in these difficult times.

In these darkest of times, it is truly a special feeling to be able to bring smiles to the faces of children in the Prifrontovyi region of Kharkiv. Thanks to your incredible support, together with our partner on the ground in Kharkiv, Ukrainian charity 'Kharkiv With You' we continue our mission through the Mobile School of Life, and I’m grateful to share this beautiful update on the positive impact your donations are making.

From early April to mid-May, charity volunteers visited the villages of Voloska Balaklia, Basaliyivka, Primorske, Novyi Burluk, and Lebiazhe. During the Easter holidays, they created themed wreaths with the children, played outdoor games, and spent quality time connecting and sharing moments of joy.

In some villages, volunteers held special craft workshops where charming woollen cats were knitted as a cheerful souvenir of the fun and togetherness. These activities are designed not only to develop fine motor skills but also to improve each child’s psychological well-being. They help build confidence, enhance emotional resilience, and reduce anxiety.

Creative sessions like these are vital for helping children cope with stress, as the simple act of making something with their own hands brings joy, focus, and a profound sense of accomplishment.

I hope you will find this heartfelt update —and the photos—as heartwarming as we have here at Support Kharkiv Foundation. The volunteers tell us just how much excitement and anticipation the Mobile School brings to the children. The question we always hear as they say goodbye is: “When will you come again?!”
