GéNIA has been invited to teach a special yoga program to the LA based children's choir MUSYCA. In addition to being a virtuoso concert pianist, GéNIA is also a British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) certified yoga instructor and creator of the Piano-Yoga® method. GéNIA has created a bespoke yoga program dedicated to vocalists to enhance and improve different aspects of their practice. GéNIA says "I cannot wait to teach yoga, specifically tailored for young singers, across the globe to the wonderful children's choir based in the LA area".
The camp is aimed at children aged 7-18 and will commence on 15 July with 7-12 year olds participating in the first week and the older age group the following week. To sign up to the music camp please follow the link here.
This great choir has appeared in Carnegie Hall, Disney World, the White House, Carnegie Hall and Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral to name just a few. It’s run by the wonderful musicians, its Artistic Director Dr. Misha Shtangrud and Executive Director Dr. Anna Krendel.
