To mark the fourth anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, London’s Trafalgar Square will be transformed into a monumental open-air stage for Voices of Ukraine — a large-scale music and theatre performance turning raw war archives into a defiant act of art, remembrance, and solidarity.

The event will bring together an extraordinary collective of Ukrainian and international artists alongside world diplomats in a powerful manifesto of resilience, ensuring that Ukrainian voices are heard at the very heart of the British capital.

The musical heart of the evening will be led by Ruslana, the iconic Ukrainian singer and songwriter whose voice has embodied the spirit of Ukrainian freedom for more than two decades. Accompanied by children’s choirs, her performance will bridge centuries of Ukrainian resistance with the urgent realities of today.

Moving beyond statistics, the performance will be built upon authentic letters and testimonies curated by the Ukraine War Archive and Svidok.org — voices from the frontlines, occupied territories, destroyed towns, and separated families.

Through theatrical readings and live performance, these testimonies will be brought to life, creating a powerful collective record of war, endurance, and hope.

A cornerstone of the event will be addresses from representatives of the UK Government and international ambassadors, affirming unwavering global solidarity with Ukraine.

Beyond remembrance, the evening will carry a vital humanitarian mission: raising funds for high-capacity generators for mobile hospitals operating on the Kharkiv front, where uninterrupted power can mean the difference between life and death.

Ukraine cannot be forgotten. Its voices must continue to be heard, and the world must unite to bring a just and lasting peace,” said the organisers, which include British Ukrainian Aid, Support Ukraine, Usyk Foundation, and strategic partner Black SMM Agency. “Every phone torch held by a Londoner on the square will represent a literal light in an operating theatre of a Ukrainian hospital.”

The night will culminate in a sea of thousands of lights during a collective performance of Svitanok (Dawn) - symbolising resilience, renewal, and hope for a free Ukraine.

I am very much looking forward to taking part in this event, performing at Trafalgar Square.

Four years of courage .Four years of loss. Four years of unbreakable spirit.

As a Ukrainian-born pianist and composer, this moment is deeply personal. When words fall short, music becomes both witness and resistance.

Especially looking forward to sharing the stage with Pulsar Drum Show.

London, I will see you there!
